Graduate Wind Analyst - Bristol or Glasgow
The Wind Farm Analyst role involves assessment of wind resource and energy yield, supporting banks, lenders and developers. Key parts of the role include wind data analysis, terrain flow simulation, and turbine performance. Prevailing operates a casual structure and open plan environment, allowing junior staff immediate opportunity to work closely with senior staff on front-line projects.
The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 or better MEng, ideally with particular focus on fluid dynamics. Candidates with other academic backgrounds and a good head for numbers will be considered on merit.
Pay is competitive, including annual bonus scheme, pension and other benefits.

Analysis Group Leader - Glasgow
Prevailing is seeking a talented and experienced analysis group leader for the growing Glasgow office.
They will have the following attributes:
- Experienced in a broad range of wind, energy and related analysis - 5 years experience expected as a minimum;
- Proven track record in management of engineering analysis teams, getting perfect results to clients on time and budget;
- Able to take a lead in the research and development of analysis techniques;
- Familiar with all normal wind analysis calculation tools, to a financial due diligence level;
- Keenness to thrive in a small company environment.

Senior Noise Analyst
Prevailing is seeking a wind farm noise expert to work in either Bristol or Glasgow.
Making best use of noise limits, including cumulative impact, can have a substantial effect on wind farm yield. Prevailing are experts on the technical interactions of noise and energy yield, advising on all stages of projects using industry best practice in-house modelling and expertise. We would like to strengthen our capabilities with an experienced noise expert with planning experience.
They will have the following attributes:
- IOA accreditation;
- Strong track record in UK noise analysis and legislation;
- Experienced in discussion and negotiation with clients, planners and at appeal;
- Substantial experience in writing of ES noise chapters;
- Keenness to thrive in a small company environment.
