Ivar graduated in Engineering from Cambridge University in 1996 and worked for Ove Arup for 5 years before joining the wind industry. Ivar ran the UK wind resource analysis team at Garrad Hassan, giving him in-depth knowledge of the UK wind industry across financial, development and utility sectors. Ivar joined Airtricity in 2008 where he managed their sector-leading short term energy forecasting operation and wind resource analysis for their offshore UK Round 3 bids.

Matthew graduated in Engineering from Cambridge in 2001. Working at Garrad Hassan until 2006, he ran the India and Ireland analysis teams. After moving to Airtricity at the start of 2007, he managed the central resource assessment team including acquisitions analysis and monitoring campaigns across new markets.

Stuart Baylis - Senior Analyst, Bristol
Stuart joined Prevailing in 2009 after completing a masters in aerospace engineering, including a sandwich year at Garrad Hassan and Partners (now GL-Garrad Hassan).

Bridget Brown - Senior Analyst, Bristol
Bridget joined Prevailing in 2010 after completing a masters in Energy Policy and Sustainability. Previously she worked for Garrad Hassan and Partners (now GL-Garrad Hassan) for three years and has a masters in Mechanical Engineering.

Brendan Callery - Analyst, Glasgow
Brendan joined Prevailing in 2011 with 2 years experience as a wind analyst with Airtricity/SSE in Scotland. He has gained nearly 4 years experience with engineering consultancies in Ireland and Canada.

Andrew Hay - Group Leader, Bristol
Andrew graduated in Aerospace Engineering and German from the University of Bath in 2001 and worked for EADS in Germany until 2005. He joined Prevailing after working at GL Garrad Hassan for 6 years, where most recently he was the office manager for their Irish office and a senior team leader in the energy and development services team.

Emma Noirault - Senior Analyst, Bristol
Emma joined Prevailing in 2010 from the Repower France site assessment team, after completion of her EUREC masters in Greece and Germany.

Ben Skelton - Analyst, Bristol
Ben joined the Bristol team in 2011 following completion of a Masters in Geomatics at UCL. He also brings legal skills having practiced in corporate law at Shoosmiths solicitors.

Joel Manning - Head of Research, Bristol
After graduating in Physics at University of Bristol, Joel spent 8 years within the energy and development services department at Garrad Hassan and Partners. During this time he completed an Engineering Doctorate considering prediction of wind flow in complex terrain. He was also key to developing, and later managing, both CFD wind flow modelling and meso-scale wind mapping services. Joel joined Prevailing in 2012.

Mikel Bastarrika - Analyst, Glasgow
Mikel graduated in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Glasgow in 2011. He worked for a year in the renewable applications department of the Met Office before joining Prevailing in 2012.

Neil Atkinson - Manager, Continental Europe
Neil graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Universisty of Bristol in 2002. He started working in the wind industry in 2005, after an initial spell in the gas turbine and aerospace industries. Following a period of 3 years working at GL Garrad Hassan, Neil joined Veolia Environnement (Eolfi) in France where he led the wind resource assessment team and more recently, he worked as Wind Assessment Manager at E.ON Climate & Renewables in Germany. Neil joined Prevailing in 2013.
